Print on Demand - Do you know what it is?

Put simply you have a supplier that prints your designs for you. You only pay for printing once you have secured your own sale. You do not need to hold stock and when your customer places an order it goes directly through to your print partner to be printed and shipped for you. 

For example your own store maybe on Etsy or Shopify and you sell your designs. Once your design is sold your order goes straight through to whoever is your printing partner. Your printing partner - which we hope is us yourdesign.­co.­uk, then takes on the responsibility of printing your designs and sending directly to your customer as if the order has come directly from your store. What is so good about Print on Demand?

In a nutshell - once you are set up on your store your work is done!

You do not need to hold stock, buy equipment and machines or pay staff. Your strengths lie in marketing and designing your products so you are free to do this and allow a team that specialises in printing to do that for you. 

At very low cost you can add additional designs to your store and build your brand. You can add and remove items as and when you feelcreative. In fact the only cost you will incur is on your website or selling platform like Etsy.

How do I make my money?

When you set your store up you set your own prices. Your prices will be premium as you are selling the completed product. So you will charge more than your print provider - us. The difference between what you charge your customer and what we, or your print provider charges you is your profit. (Remember little extra costs like Etsy or store fees).
